The title says it all. It was raining cats and dogs in the morning that Sunday but my roommate and I just thought it would be nice to go out and have breakfast.

We braved the wind and all to go to our chosen breakfast place: Cafe Cartel at Nex mall at Serangoon.

It was very cozy inside. We immediately ordered warm mini sweet buns with butter which were so great for its sheer simplicity.

Here's our french toast with sausage, bacon,and scrambled eggs complete with honey on the side.
